The Saga

A man who chose the hard road repeatedly, not for attention—but to see what he was made of.

Chapter I

The Grind

I fought before I was ready. I took the fights others wouldn't. The Nick Alley fight. The Face Sensei fight that millions watched.

It wasn't about the record. It was about the training when nobody was watching. Losing, winning, and showing up again the next day.

"I didn't wait for permission."

Chapter II

The Hardening

Life hit harder than any opponent. My son was born a NICU baby; we almost lost him and his mother. My brother suffered a stroke at 17.

I lost fights during this time. The world shook. But this is where the steel is tempered.

Lobstering. Long days on the water. Physical pain. Mental quiet. The ocean doesn't care about your feelings. Neither does the cage.

"Work doesn't care about your feelings."

Chapter III

The Turning

June 16, 2018. NEF 34. I was the underdog against Carlton Charles, a former UMaine football star.

The week before, I had a panic attack just thinking about it. But when the cage door closed, the nerves vanished. I secured the Rear Naked Choke in the 4th round.

That victory wasn't just for a belt. It was proof that effort, when directed, conquers hype.

"Power without direction is wasted."

Chapter IV

The Build

Sales mastery. Corvette Academy. Real estate. Building businesses.

Curiosity led me to AI, to art, to music. Always learning. The craft is discipline applied over time, regardless of the medium.

"Craft is discipline applied over time."

Chapter V

The Point

My wife. My son. Family adventures across Maine and beyond.

Travel, hiking, museums, music, singing. This is why we fight. This is why we build.

"What’s the point of being dangerous if you don’t love anything?"

The Crucible

My record isn't a list of wins and losses. It's a list of tests.

Every loss came against the elite—BJJ Black Belts, Judo Black Belts, Bellator veterans, and top-ranked regional killers. I didn't pad my record. I sought out the monsters to see if I could stand with them.
