The Turning
June 16, 2018. NEF 34. I was the underdog against Carlton Charles, a former UMaine football star.
The week before, I had a panic attack just thinking about it. But when the cage door closed, the nerves vanished. I secured the Rear Naked Choke in the 4th round.
That victory wasn't just for a belt. It was proof that effort, when directed, conquers hype.

Every loss came against the elite—BJJ Black Belts, Judo Black Belts, Bellator veterans, and top-ranked regional killers. I didn't pad my record. I sought out the monsters to see if I could stand with them.
